Client Background:

Helpline, provide personal alarms and key safes for the elderly. Their five-star service means that the concerns of clients and their loved ones are their number one priority. They’ve been in the business for a long time and are proud of their reputation for outstanding customer service, response and care. They take the time to build long lasting relationships and go the extra mile in order to provide the utmost level of care, comfort and reassurance to clients and their family.

Overview:

Helpline decided they needed to move to a bigger office in the same building. They wanted assistance to move and reconfigure their IT systems and approached IT Champion to plan and manage the IT element of the office relocation process.

An IT Champion engineer worked closely with the business to determine the best approach and a project plan was agreed.

Description:

During the relocation three IT Champion engineers moved all the Helpline IT equipment including:

  • Server Rack
  • Servers
  • Switches
  • Firewall
  • Router
  • UPS
  • Phone System
  • PCs & Monitors
  • Printers

The engineers positioned and plugged the equipment in at the required locations in the new office and tested all aspects of Helpline’s IT systems to ensure there was no downtime or lost productivity.

The project was delivered on a Friday, and IT Champion engineers worked over the weekend so that Helpline were able to start work on Monday morning.

The project was a great success and the business was up and running with the minimum of disruption.
