There's been no escaping GDPR this year, and talk of the new regulations shows no signs of slowing down as we head rapidly towards the deadline. As of May 2018, the way that your company stores and uses data will be held under these new rules, and with as little as 20% of companies looking to be compliant in time there's still a huge amount of work to be done.
Despite multiple articles being shared and discussed online, confusion is still high when it comes to understanding exactly what GDPR means, and how it will affect your particular business. Our next event intends to provide some clarity on these topics while we still have time to prepare.
We're thrilled to be teaming up with our friends at Sampson Hall and Securious for a morning's workshop on GDPR & Cyber Essentials, covering exactly what you need to know moving forward and where you actually need to start in terms of becoming compliant. Held in Burrington Estates in Southernhay, Exeter, the event is a completely free 2 hour long workshop with presentations from Phil Sampson and Pete Woodward and with time for Q&A, networking and refreshments.
Join us on Thursday 7th December to find out more and to take your first steps towards GDPR compliance. Tickets are free but limited so that attendees get the most they can from the event, so book now.
